Some of the ways we might be able to help you are listed, although please note, these will be subject to you meeting certain criteria.

This list isn't exhaustive and there may be other things we can do to help in your particular situation. Whichever option we put in place, we'll make sure it suits your individual circumstances and is the best thing for you.

Please note that it won't affect your credit score by simply getting in touch with us, although if you don't make payments on time, we will notify credit reference agencies such as Experian or Equifax of the late impact on your credit profile. Some of the options listed may also be reported on your credit file in other ways, however we'll explain this in more detail for anything we put in place to help you.

We may be able to:

Allow a period of reduced, or no payments (please note that this would mean your arrears would increase).

Offer you a payment holiday.

Make an affordable arrangement for you to clear your arrears.

Switch your mortgage to interest only for a short period of time.

Extend the term of your mortgage.

Reduce the amount of interest applied to any arrears that may build up.

Waive or defer interest and / or capital.

Reduce interest rates or apply simple interest instead of compound interest.
