Our net pre-tax profit has increased substantially over the last 10 years from £0.01 million in 1994 to £27.4 million in 2005 equivalent to a compound increase of 90% per annum. We believe this makes us one of the most consistently successful finance companies in the UK.
Furthermore this increase in profits has shown that we can grow our business without sacrificing profit. Over the last 10 years our profits have grown at a faster rate than our turnover showing that we are steadily building a more robust business model.
In 2006 we anticipate that similar levels of profitability are achievable by focusing on our continuous improvement programme.
Our consistent turnover performance has been recognised by the Sunday Times who gave us an award for fast profit growth in 2004 and 2005, and by Management Today, the UK's leading management magazine which placed our Chairman at fifth place in the annual list of the top 100 entrepreneurs in the UK in January 2006.
