In July 2006, Lindsey McKinnie won the Group's star of the year award for 2005/06. Lindsey received the award and the keys to a brand new Peugeot 207, at the Group's annual summer ball. Central Trust is wedded to the Japanese business approach of "kaizen" or "continuous improvement".

In 2006 the company is continuing an ambitious programme of process improvements drawing on lean manufacturing thinking. The objective is to increase our productivity by 50% by the end of the year.

For the fifth year in succession Central Trust PLC has received an award from the Sunday Times. The company was 71st place on the list of 100 UK companies and is the only company to have received this award every year between 2002 and 2006. See our awards page for further details.
